Taste & Talent
A night for local stars to shine
🍽️ One Kitchen, One Stage, Unlimited Heart
Welcome to Taste and Talent—a night where Newcastle’s favourite comfort food meets emerging local artists. No gimmicks. Just good vibes, real music, and a community that shows up for its own.
🐟 Simple Plates, Done Right
Our kitchen keeps it honest: crisp Barramundi Fish & Chips, golden Arancini, and seasonal specials made with market-fresh produce. Think “pub classics with pride,” served hot and paired with Hunter wine or craft beer.
🎤 A Real Stage for Rising Stars
Each month we feature 2–3 emerging acts—solo artists, indie trios, or singer-songwriters with something to say. They get a real stage, real lights, and an audience that actually listens.
🤝 Community You Can Taste
Every ticket supports local music, local growers, and our team. Clap, connect, and share a meal with people who believe in good nights and great talent.
💌 Why This Beats the Couch
Streaming fills time. This fills your soul. Come for the food, stay for the music, leave feeling more connected to your city and its stories.
🚀 Book Your Spot & Bring a Mate
Seats go fast when the food’s this good and the vibe’s this real. Tell your mates, grab a table, and let’s build something special—one gig at a time.
🎤 This Month’s Lineup 🎤

🎤 BELLA AND CHARLES
My name is Charles, I am 16 years old, born and raised Australian, I primarily play guitar and sing, but I can also play piano and drums. I have been performing for 3 years at both pubs, concerts and small local functions, and I hope to continue and grow my performing audience and abilities!
My name is Isabella but you can call me Bella! I’m a musician located in Newcastle, and I am mainly a singer-songwriter. I can also play a variety of instruments ranging from bass clarinet, to piano and even some ukulele! I have been a performer for as long as I can remember and have performed in school settings, on the stage of the civic and Flamingos Live too! My dream is to become a singer-songwriter one day and I hope to release some music of my own soon!

🎤 SUPERTONICS
The Supertonics are a contemporary vocal ensemble from the Conservatorium of Newcastle. Starting with four members in 2017, today the Supertonics have grown to an ensemble of ten members retaining three loyal, original members. The talented teenagers meet weekly to share their passion for harmonies and enjoy repertoire spanning jazz, contemporary, folk and music theatre.
