Emerging from the UK folk scene during the coalition government years, Petrie quickly built a devoted following through songs that balance righteous anger with humour, hope and solidarity.

Often compared to Billy Bragg for her fearless lyricism and passionate live performances, Petrie has toured extensively throughout the UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Canada, selling out shows across Australia and New Zealand since her debut tour here in 2020.

Her breakout anthem Black Tiehas surpassed 1.5million streams worldwide, becoming a powerful song of queer identity and self-expression embraced by fans around the globe.Alongside headline tours, Grace has shared stages with artists including Billy Bragg, Frank Turner and Hannah Gadsby, appeared on BBC Radio 2, Sky Arts and Channel 4, and become a regular favourite on The Guilty Feministpodcast.
