The Album Show Presents: 50 Years of 1976
Thursday 5 March 2026 · Flamingos Live
The Album Show returns with a fresh instalment in its acclaimed series celebrating the milestone anniversaries of music’s most influential years. Each edition shines a spotlight on a defining moment in musical history — and this year, the journey leads to 1976.
“50 Years of 1976” pays tribute to the songs released or recorded during this pivotal year, a time when social change and explosive creativity shaped new genres and redefined popular culture. From the smooth groove of West Coast country rock, to the peak of 70s pop, the last shimmer of glam, the rise of disco and the earliest rumblings of punk, 1976 stands as a turning point that continues to resonate five decades later.
Featuring the music of Wings, Rod Stewart, AC/DC, Elton John, Bee Gees, Fleetwood Mac, ABBA, Eagles, The Bay City Rollers and many more, this show honours a year that helped crystallise the sound of contemporary pop and rock.
Performed by a five-piece band with striking visuals and engaging storytelling, The Album Show brings these iconic tracks to life across two sets and more than two hours of world-class live music.
A vibrant, nostalgic celebration of the year that changed everything.
