About the Show
Tania Nichamin | Back from Nashville
Special Guest: Kane Vincent
When Tania Nichamin steps onto the stage, it’s clear something extraordinary is unfolding. With a voice both rich and soulful, and a magnetic energy that fills every space she performs in, Tania is fast becoming one of the most exciting new names in Australian country music. Backed by her phenomenal seven-piece band and shimmering four-part harmonies, she delivers performances that are as powerful as they are heartfelt.
A natural storyteller, Tania fuses traditional country roots with a fresh, modern attitude. Every lyric she writes and every song she sings carries a sense of truth and lived experience. Her music captures life’s highs and lows with unfiltered honesty, whether it’s a fiery anthem that lifts spirits or a ballad that tugs at the heart.
Her journey began in 2023 when her wedding song This Is Our Love Song, a song written for her husband, unexpectedly went viral soaring to #5 on the iTunes charts. The track captured the nation’s attention and earned her a feature on A Current Affair, opening doors to a wave of new opportunities. Riding that momentum, she released Biggest Heart, a moving tribute to her late father, two-time Golden Guitar nominee Shane Nichamin. The song’s emotional depth and national airplay cemented her as a rising force. When her father passed away from leukemia shortly after, Tania’s drive to honour his legacy only grew stronger.
Her next single, Lorraine, tackled the issue of domestic violence with grace and courage. Premiering nationally on Foxtel’s CMT, it also marked her debut as a director. In 2024, after graduating from the prestigious Academy of Country Music, Tania collaborated with Golden Guitar-nominated producer Michael Carpenter to create her debut album TURN IT UP. The record featured co-writes with country heavyweights Kevin Bennett, Cody Walker, and Anthony Snape.
That same year, she released Sunsets, co-wrote with Snape, a heartfelt tribute to her father, again paired with a self-directed video featured on CMT. The momentum continued as her next single Bigger The Hoops climbed international charts, hitting #1 on a U.S. radio station.
In 2026, Tania released UNCHARTED ROADS to rave reviews, earning Apple playlist features and international airplay. Tania, now fresh fromher Nashville writing tour, and with two singles due out later this year co-wrote with Damien Leith and Dave Gleeson, Tania Nichamin’spowerful storytelling and unforgettable sold out shows are proving this is not just a career, it’s a calling.
