Since bursting onto the scene in 2004, The Pigs have become one of Australia’s most beloved and unmistakable musical acts — a hillbilly powerhouse blending Bluegrass, Country, Rock and Pop into their signature style: Hillbilly Pop.
With T-Bone, Stretch, Shamus and Bert at the helm, The Pigs deliver a wild, joyful mash-up of high-energy musicianship, razor-sharp humour and irresistible charm. Their shows blur the line between bluegrass brilliance and playful comedy — though if you ask them, they’re simply having a damn good time.
The Pigs have toured major festivals across Australia and Europe, released five celebrated albums, and earned a cult following for their legendary covers — turning songs by Beyoncé, Powderfinger, John Farnham, INXS, Skyhooks and even Carl Orff into foot-stomping bluegrass anthems. Their original material is just as iconic, with their offbeat hit “Macho Moisturiser” now a crowd-favourite sing-along everywhere they go.
Still rocking their trademark blue singlets, The Pigs remain one of the country’s most entertaining live bands — bold, bawdy, brilliant, and unlike anything else on stage.
